Terms of Service

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sleeploops website and platform at sleeploops.space (“the Service”), operated by Sleeploops.space,Switzerland (“we”, “us”, “Sleeploops”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sleeploops is a web-based platform providing sleep sounds, soundscapes, and audio tools designed to help users build bedtime routines and create relaxing sound environments.

Sleeploops is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. See our Disclaimer for details.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly at support@sleeploops.space if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Free and Premium Plans

Sleeploops offers a free plan with limited access to sounds and features, and a paid Premium subscription that unlocks the full library and advanced features. Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page.

The free plan is available indefinitely at no cost. Features and limitations of each plan may change over time; we will notify existing users of material changes.

6. Subscription, Billing, and Auto-Renewal

Premium subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are displayed in USD.

Free Trial

New Premium subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. During the trial, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be billed at the applicable rate.

Auto-Renewal

All Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Payment

Payments are processed securely through PayPal. We do not store your payment card details directly. By subscribing, you authorize recurring payments through your selected payment method.

Price Changes

We may adjust subscription prices from time to time. Price changes will be communicated to existing subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@sleeploops.space.

Upon cancellation, you retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free plan. No partial refunds are given for unused time within a billing period.

8. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your Premium subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first paid charge (excluding free trial periods). Send your request to support@sleeploops.space. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Refunds are not available for renewal periods beyond the initial subscription period, nor for accounts terminated due to a violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All audio content, software, designs, text, and other materials on Sleeploops are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly perform, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without prior written consent.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract audio content
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense any part of the Service or its content
• Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Service

11. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

12. Health Disclaimer

13. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your expectations or produce any specific results.

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

14. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws provisions and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Switzerland, subject to any mandatory statutory provisions granting consumers the right to bring proceedings at their place of domicile.
